On May 5, 2022, Pathway Church sent a letter to homeowners on Stoney Point Street; to the west of their church property advising them they were going to request a zoning change.

During the week of May 8, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission sent a letter to a number of homeowners around the area of the Pathway Church.  (The letter was NOT sent to all Timber Ridge Homeowners.)  The letter advised of a public meeting to be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Church to discuss a proposed zoning change to the Church’s property to allow housing units.

On May 19, 2022, Pathway Church sent a letter to those individuals that attended the May 12th meeting with a 10-page document providing more detail about the project.  The information provided details approximately 42 double housing units (84 spaces) providing rentals.  The units would be built on the property to the northwest and southwest of the current church building.  The plans provide no additional exit streets being built.  Residents would exit the area on Westlawn to Stoney Point or the church’s road to Maize Road.
